February Monthly Review 2025
Last month was heavy on content, coaching and preparation for the rest of the year.
Client Wins
One client locked in an extra $18,000 annually!
We’ve been working through her pricing strategy and mindset for the past couple of months, and this is a solid return on investment. Wins like this remind me why I love coaching.
Coaching Takeaways
I logged 13+ hours of coaching this month, and as always, I learned just as much as my clients. My own takeaway? Keep a better weekly log of lessons and wins.
Here are a few key insights from February:
Turn Client Work into Content & Leads
Use actual projects as content fuel—document insights, create tutorials, and repurpose for YouTube, Instagram, and blogs.
Clients need to see your expertise in action before they reach out.
Productize Repetitive Work & Reduce Proposals
Identify common client needs and create pre-priced service packages to streamline sales.
Optimize Your Service Page to Sell Before the Call
Clearly outline the transformation & process so clients pre-qualify themselves.
Address common objections upfront—reduce time spent explaining the offer.
Think Bigger: Build Scalable Assets, Not Just Services
Create content, courses, or systems to serve clients beyond 1:1 work.
Your expertise is valuable—package it for growth.

The Corporate Dropout Memoir
Zero books sold in February! I did very little promoting. Instead, I’ve been focused on building the back-end resources to complement the book and answer the “What now?” question for readers.
Also, look out for the audiobook in the next couple months.
Webinars, Summit & Podcast Appearances
Things are picking up on the speaking side which is great.
I hosted two Q&A style webinars on marketing Squarespace templates and rolled that energy up into a Template Marketing Playbook.
The Web Designer Summit
I met Liz Ellery at Squarespace Circle Day last year and she invited me to speak at her summit.
I was also a guest on the following podcasts. These all came about from posting and reaching out on Threads.
If you’d like me on your podcast you can book me here.
The Earth Ecletic Podcast
I share my raw and unfiltered journey of leaving Verizon without a safety net—while carrying $60K in student loan debt, dealing with a DUI, and expecting my first child. This episode dives into the struggles of transitioning into entrepreneurship, the lessons I learned about resilience, and how I turned necessity into opportunity. If you’re feeling stuck in your career or afraid to take the leap, this is a must-listen for real talk on navigating uncertainty and building something from scratch.
Progressing on Purpose - AfroVibesTV
We talk about how pain can push you into purpose, the power of storytelling, and what it really takes to transform your life. I share personal stories about redefining identity, capturing lessons through writing, and walking through seasons of uncertainty. If you're in a period of transition or trying to make sense of your own journey, this conversation will help you see the bigger picture and trust the process.
Zero to Growth with Chris Dickenson Podcast
In this episode, I break down the realities of leaving a corporate job and why freedom isn’t what most people expect. I share the biggest mindset shifts I had to make, including how discipline creates true freedom, how to overcome impostor syndrome, and why self-belief is the foundation of success. If you're struggling with self-doubt, transitioning out of a job, or figuring out how to build a life on your own terms, this conversation will give you the clarity and confidence to move forward.
Looking Ahead
February was all about laying the foundation—March is about leveraging that momentum.
What’s next? More speaking, more coaching, and rolling out new assets to help freelancers scale their businesses sustainably.
